The management of pregnant woman with thyroid disease raises many questions. Currently several pregnants with thyroid disease pay more and more attention to the effects of pathology on pregnancy prognosis, delivery and offspring’s wellbeing. The paper summarizes physiology of adaptive changes in thyroid function during pregnancy and analyzes some controversial decision making aspects of the management of pregnants with thyroid disease.
